Sein Name leitet sich von <strong>caseolus<\/strong> ab, was aufgrund seiner geringen Gr\u00f6\u00dfe (etwa ein Kilo f\u00fcr jeden K\u00e4selaib) &#8222;kleiner K\u00e4se&#8220; bedeutet.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #669900;\">Wie wird der Casolet K\u00e4se hergestellt?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Der Casolet ist ein Weichk\u00e4se mit einer Farbe, die von hell wei\u00df bis strohgelb variiert. Dank des Reichtums der Vollmilch hat er einen Geschmack, der milchige und kr\u00e4uterartige Komponenten aufweist. Es ist ein K\u00e4se mit sehr alten Urspr\u00fcngen und galt als der klassische &#8222;hausgemachte K\u00e4se&#8220;. In Vergangenheit wurde er nur im Herbst nach der R\u00fcckkehr der Tiere von den Sommerweidenhergestellt und dann in den strengen Bergwintermonaten gegessen.<\/p>\n<p>Wegen seines bescheidenen Ursprungs und seiner weiten Verbreitung bestehen keine Standards f\u00fcr die Zubereitung, tats\u00e4chlich hat er von den genannten Abmessungen her eine H\u00f6he von 10 cm mal 10 cm im Durchmesser, auch wenn einige K\u00e4selaibe sogar 2 oder 3 Kilo wiegen konnten, das sie mit der Milch zubereitet wurden, die gerade zu Hause verf\u00fcgbar war.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #669900;\">Traditionelle Zubereitung und Slow Food Pr\u00e4sidium<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Wie bereits urspr\u00fcnglich wird Casolet haupts\u00e4chlich mit <strong>Rohmilch<\/strong> zubereitet. Aufgrund diese Zubereitung mit Rohmilch ist das Casolet des Val di Sole Teil der Produkte der Arche des Geschmacks des <strong>Slow Foods<\/strong>.
